We were not there to cook, but the kitchenette was supplied appropriately for what we needed. Stayed at Sunshine 2 weeks ago and my family of 4 enjoyed it tremendously! The room was clean and smelled fine. The hotel staff was friendly and our kids enjoyed the chickens that ran around the property. The grocery store, frozen yogurt shop, liquor store and some other shops are within walking distance of the hotel.The service at the Sunshine Grill was excellent and the food was good too. Breakfast is free and meals can be cooked on the stove.
We saw plenty of angel fish, some stingrays, and even a sea turtle! You can also access the bar and restaurant at the Westin and charge it to your room at Sunshine Suites.The one big advantage of staying at Sunshine Suites is how much money is saved. If you're into snorkeling and you go out a ways, you will see some interesting animal life. There are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas to use. The water is crystal clear and the sand is white. However, if you walk across the street to the Westin, you will be greeted by one of the most spectacular beaches in Cayman. You will not actually be on the beach at this hotel. I've stayed at some nice hotels, but not all have had such nice beaches.
